RTO Checking At Toll Tax Many Points In Gujarat
The Transport Department of Govt. of Gujarat is entrusted with the responsibility of providing an efficient public transportation system, control of vehicular pollution, registration of vehicles in Gujarat, issuance of Driving licences, issuance of various permits, collection of road taxes. The department also entrusted in policy-making, co-ordination, implementation, monitoring and regulatory functions of all the Transport related aspects of Gujarat.

Issuance of computerized Learner’s Licence in the State.
Issuance of 4 KB SCOSTA based Smart-Card Driving Licence in the State.
Issuance of Optical-Card Vehicle Registration Book (VRC).
Issuance of Computerized Permits.
Issuance of computerized Fitness Certificate of vehicles.
Introduction of e-Payment System.
Creation of State Register.
Issuance and termination of Hypothecation entry of vehicles in computerized form.
Introduction of Web-based solution and SMS gateways.
Modernization of Check-posts.
The Transport Department is regulated by the Government of Gujarat in terms of policy formulation and its implementation. The Department is administered by the Transport Commissioner who is the Head of the Transport Department.
The Regional Transport Department of the state has ordered the round-the-clock intensive checking on important check points and toll nakaas in the state. Vehicle Commissioner Gandhinagar has ordered all the traffic officials of the state to order intensive check-up on other checking points which are considered suitable besides the 32 check points fixed in the state.
According to sources in the office of Gandhinagar, the Commissioner of Transport, the vehicle has been commissioned in the state at present with 32 check points and toll stations. In which more than 150 RTO inspectors and staff are working.

It is to be mentioned that this work has received revenue of about 7 crores so far from the State Government’s Transport Office. On the other hand, vehicles passing through the state’s tollnaka are not taxed, overloaded goods are loaded, and over-dimension means that more than the length-width fixed in the loaded goods in the freight truck tanker will be done against the drivers. All the RTOs in the state are required to complete 12 hours According to the shift, this work has been clarified. After the completion of the checking report, the information will be uploaded and uploaded through Google Sheets.
